Co-Creator Matt Siemieniuk and I are brothers. The premise for this series is based loosely on our own family life when we were growing up. I've actually been working on this since I started learning Flash over six weeks ago. Because we're still new to this process, production probably won't be done until March of 2008. This is our very first Flash release, so there isn't anything to live up to yet.
The concept is definitely not all too original, with the exception of our choice to use a Polish protagonist over another ethnic group. The Back to the Future thing is all over the place as well. We're merely looking to take a basic concept, and identify with an audience by having to rely on story structure and character development. I wouldn't mistake my primitive animation and basic drawing style as much of a "technique." As simplistic as it is, I prefer to keep it that way. It just looks funnier.
I'm half-expecting my e-mail to be overflowing with spam and virus attachments once this hits the internet. The reason I say this is because:
When I first joined Newgrounds in November 2007, I paid a visit to the BBC. I posted a thread in which I stated I was a writer looking for an animator. The response I received was crude at best. Feeling a little hopeless in befriending an animator, I decided to learn the program myself.
We're not really bigots.
